Let me share some images I took while visiting Xiamen, China. I took my Canon 5D mkiii with 24-105mm L and 50mm 1.4, polarizing filter and variable ND filter. Although the conditions were overcast I still managed to get some compelling photos. I processed them from RAW and HDR psd comps. The ND allowed me to get about a second of open shutter in broad, bright daylight, allowing me to shoot some movement in some of the scenic areas of the city.

I highly recommend going to Wuyi Shan and then Xiamen by bullet train. The feeling of the city is similar to that of Taiwan and has some really interesting islands to see. You can tell that the area was hit hard in the last hurricane but the residents are resilient and the trees hold the history as a reminder of the struggles the people have overcome.
